Alice was introduced to Swing dance in Russia in 2015, and fell in love with Lindy Hop. After moving to Toronto in 2022 she started doing Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Slow Balboa and Blues. She is addicted to social dancing and rarely misses Swing Toronto’s Saturday Night Swing where she often teaches the beginner Lindy Hop lesson with various other instructors, as both a lead and a follow. A natural performer, she has done several dance gigs where she leads and follows Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Collegiate Shag and performs lifts and air steps (aerials). Alice enjoys the interaction between partners. For her it’s like a good conversation where the exchange of ideas can open up new horizons for both partners.
