And we’re back!!! The ship hasn’t sailed!! We are excited to be back (as of Saturday, May 13, 2023) and hosting some of our events at Dovercourt House! Although we will continue to run some of our dances and events at other venues, we do expect to have a good share of them here!
For those newer to our scene or unfamiliar with our history with this venue, prior to the pandemic, Saturday Night Swing featuring swing bands and beginner classes was held at Dovercourt House every Saturday night!
The entrance to La Plaza is down the steps on the north side of the front landing of Dovercourt House. Instead of going up the steps to the landing and front doors, go down the steps on the north side of the landing.
For those wanting a beverage or simply a short break from the dance floor, you will be invited to the basement floor cocktail lounge. You will be able to bring your purchased beverage back to the dance party for consumption.

This will be a regular home for Saturday Night Swing every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month!

Enter the Upper Hall from Hampton Avenue, just south of Danforth.

A two minute walk from the Chester subway stop, in the heart of The Danforth.
Enter the church from the doors on Jackman Avenue, which is on the east side of the church, one block west of Chester and the Chester subway stop.
Enter the church from front door on The Danforth, and go up the stairs.
