WORKSHOP

Lindy Hop Intermediate 2 – “Frame Matching”
All Levels!

Vaccination proof NOT required. Masks optional.

PREREQUISITE

NO PARTNER REQUIRED.

You have completed at least three six-week intermediate Lindy Hop courses or the equivalent, and have been been dancing Lindy Hop socially for at least six months. You want to know more, so you can do more. This workshop is at an “intermediate 2” level.

Dave Trinh is coming to Toronto for the first two weekends of October to teach Lindy Hop. This is a very rare chance to take lessons from him in Toronto. He is a highly-regarded long-time teacher of Lindy Hop. Gabrielle will be co-teaching with him for this workshop.
Explore Frame Matching, the change in posture, tone/tension, energy and direction, as methods to inspire yourself and your dance partner; while being creative with new and old figures.

Frame Matching is a codified theory of partner-dance connection. It establishes a framework for breaking down and teaching Swing and Blues dance connection.

A partner is NOT required. It is common for people to attend by themselves. Partner rotation is allowed and encouraged in all lessons. You may register on your own or with a partner. Nevertheless, if you still seek a partner, please post that at the Facebook event.
