Dave discovered Lindy Hop in the early 2000s, and immersed himself in it and other swing dancing every summer at the world-renowned Lindy Hop camp in Herräng, Sweden. He has taught Lindy Hop in such places as Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Western Canada, and the United States. He has founded, owned, and operated several swing dance organizations, which he transitioned to new ownership and leadership.

Dave is a highly regarded Lindy Hop teacher known for his fluid movements, technical understanding and dance community impact, and is also a jazz musician. He is dedicated to sharing and spreading his passion for swing dancing and jazz music, and leads workshops, private lessons, and group classes, sharing his knowledge and inspiring others to explore their own creativity and artistic expression. He spends his summers in the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia.
