On Valentine’s Day in 2014, Marie fell in love with the world of swing dancing. Since that fateful night, she has had many roles within the dance community, however none of them compare to sharing her passion for Swing-Era Jazz and Blues dances with everyone. Currently based in Toronto, Canada, Marie is experienced in a wide variety of styles, including Lindy Hop, Balboa, various Blues idioms, Charleston, Solo Jazz, and Chorus-Line dancing. She is committed to being a life-long learner, and is grateful for the privilege of being able to share this incredible art form with others. In her opinion, the only thing more inspiring than dancing itself is inspiring others to dance.
