Philipp discovered Lindy Hop in 2013 and quickly fell in love with swing dancing. In his search for dance inspiration, he traveled to more festivals than he could count and explored a variety of dance styles including Lindy Hop, Tap, House dance and Balboa. He also entered competitions, even winning a few (his favorite prize being a chocolate Darth Vader he earned during a Jedi Mix-and-Match). Passionate about sharing dance with others, Philipp has taught Lindy Hop in three countries, including in Canada where he arrived in Toronto in January, 2021. He is excited to share his dance knowledge, and maybe some homemade cookies, with students!
