PREREQUISITE
No prior experience or partner are needed, though prior dance experience is an asset. Experienced dancers will have the opportunity to work on both leading and following in the workshop.
For those who have taken our 7-week Rock ‘n Roll Swing course or 2.5 hour workshop, registration for this workshop includes free admission to the evening dance and Rockabilly Jive lesson 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

Rock ‘n Roll Swing Dance Workshop
Learn to Swing Dance to the high energy, toe tappin’ tunes from the 1950s.
This workshop is also great for Lindy Hop dancers interested in adapting their skills to Rock ‘n’ Roll music.
This workshop will have different material from previous Rock ‘n’ Roll Swing Workshops and Classes taught by Vicky.
After the workshop, stay for the Rockabilly Jive drop in dance lesson and the evening dance party ft. Nicholas Campbell & The Meter Cheaters! All at the La Plaza bar.

This workshop is for dancers looking to jump right in and start dancing Lindy Hop.
Compared to our drop-in lessons at Saturday Night Swing, this workshop will be more in depth and cover a broader set of skills providing dancers with the fundamentals to feel comfortable and confident on the social dance floor. Both 6 and 8 count patterns will be explored in this class.
We know that not everyone’s schedule allows for weekly dance classes, especially in the summer. That is why we are offering Beginner and Intermediate Intensive Workshops!
This workshop will cover things not covered in Vicky & Benoit’s July 12th Lindy Hop Beginner Intensive.
