By purchasing a ticket to this event you agree to the policies below, and Code of Conduct for this event.
While all ticket sales are final, if you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control:
• Full Refunds (minus a $25 processing fee) are available until August 15th, 2025.
• Partial Refunds (50%) are available from August 16th to September 25th, 2025.
• No refunds after September 25th, 2025 (except in cases of emergency).

In case of emergency
If you have an emergency that requires you to cancel your event attendance right before the event, please reach out to us through our contact form before the event starts. We will assess refunds on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness. No refunds will be given for such requests received after the start of the weekend.
If you can’t attend, you may transfer your ticket to another dancer at no extra cost:
• Deadline for Transfers: September 27th, 2025
• How to Transfer: Reach out to us through our contact form with your name & the full name & email of the person receiving the ticket. We will not approve transfers where the transferee is being charged more than the purchase price of the ticket. A student ticket may be transferred to a non-student, but the transferee needs to pay the difference between the student price and the corresponding non-student price in cash at the door.
The Toronto Lindy Exchange is primarily a social dancing event. There will only be beginner-friendly drop-in lessons before the Friday evening dance. There may be a few select performances (and competitions) but the focus will always be on social dancing.
By purchasing a ticket to this event you also agree to the Code of Conduct for this event.
In addition, by purchasing a ticket to this event you recognize that dancing can be a strenuous activity and requires a degree of physical fitness. There is an inherent risk to dancing on a social floor. The Toronto Lindy Exchange is not responsible for any injury that occurs.
We provide food service at various times during the event. We do try to keep allergies in mind but we cannot guarantee to accommodate any specific allergic need. Food is served on a first come first served basis. Attendees are welcome to bring food into the venues EXCEPT FOR DOVERCOURT HOUSE, but please do clean up after yourself.
Please keep an eye on your physical belongings. The Toronto Lindy Exchange is not responsible for any loss or theft that occurs. We may keep a lost and found for items that have been left at a venue. Please contact us through our contact form if you think you have left an item at the venue.
